Fee Schedule

Acceptable forms of payment are: cash, money orders, personal checks, bank checks, and credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express). Checks should be payable to Division of Motor Vehicles. Please note: personal checks are not accepted for Rhode Island IDs. All fees include $1.50 technology charge. All credit cards have a minimum fee of $1.50 per transaction. Transactions of $64.00 and over have a service fee of 2.35%. This fee goes to the third party provider, Federal Payments.
