• Any person 8 years of age or younger riding a bicycle or a passenger
on a bicycle on a public highway, bicycle path or other public
right of way must wear a certified bicycle helmet.

This should read "...Any person 15 years of age or younger riding a bicycle or a passenger
on a bicycle on a public highway, bicycle path or other public
right of way must wear a certified bicycle helmet."

• Children less than six years old must be properly restrained and transported
in the back seat of a motor vehicle.

This should read "... Children less than seven years old must be properly restrained and transported in the back seat of a motor vehicle.

• Children who are less than four years old must be transported in a federally
approved restraint seat in the back seat of the vehicle.

This should read "... Children who are less than seven years old must be transported in a federally approved restraint seat in the back seat of the vehicle.
